Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Maharashtra, on August 07, 2026, issued the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026, to further amend the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966.

It states that, in subsection (7), the words "up to five times the market value of the minerals" shall be substituted for the words "equal to ten times the royalty payable for the minerals".
